We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our growing team.

You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights by designing, developing, and deploying robust BI solutions that empower data-driven decision making across the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a BI Developer or a similar role.

Technical Skills:

Data Warehousing and Integration:

- In-depth knowledge of data warehouse design principles and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

- Proficiency in data warehousing platforms like Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica PowerCenter, or similar tools.

- Experience with data modeling techniques for dimensional modeling and data quality management.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify insights.

- Expertise in creating compelling and interactive data visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

- Understanding of data storytelling principles to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

Database Management:

- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and proficiency in querying languages like SQL (Structured Query Language).

- Experience working with various relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

Scripting and Automation:

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, T-SQL, or Jython for automating data manipulation and ETL tasks.

APIs and Integrations:

- Experience with integrating BI solutions with other enterprise applications using APIs or web services.

Bonus Points:

- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Snowflake).

- Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) (a plus).

- Experience with data governance and security best practices.

- Knowledge of data mining and machine learning concepts (a plus).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs.

- Design and develop data warehouse models to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.

- Create and maintain complex data transformations and data cleansing routines.

- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.

- Implement data security measures and access controls.

- Automate routine tasks using scripting and automation tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.

- Document data models, reports, and ETL processes.

- Train and support end-users on BI tools and data analysis concepts.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and best practices.
