Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage power stations and transmission lines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering activities related to the design, installation, and commissioning of 132kV, 66kV, and 11kV substations and transmission lines.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise on-site electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project timelines.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to integrate electrical systems into overall infrastructure.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Assist in procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and control panels.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.
  • Ensure all electrical work is executed in compliance with international and local electrical codes and safety standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in high-voltage power station and transmission line projects (132kV/66kV/11kV).
  • Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of power system protection, grounding, and testing protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
