Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Tester with extensive experience in cybersecurity and a strong background in incident response, threat intelligence, or threat hunting.
As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for evaluating the security posture of our clients' systems and networks by simulating cyberattacks and identifying vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on various systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Perform security assessments, including both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Develop and execute detailed penetration testing plans and strategies based on industry best practices and client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on remediation strategies and security best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security controls and mitigate identified risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Document and report findings, including detailed vulnerability assessments and recommendations, to clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Penetration Testing, with a strong understanding of offensive security techniques and methodologies.
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in incident response, threat intelligence, or threat hunting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, traffic analysis techniques, and network forensics tools.
- Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and web application security testing techniques.
- Experience with red teaming exercises and adversary simulation.
