Job Description :


The role requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs management, and SAP GTS functionalities.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of SAP GTS solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Participate in all phases of the SAP GTS project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Understand business needs and translate them into feasible and future-proof technical solutions within SAP GTS.

- Design and document detailed application configurations leveraging standard SAP solutions wherever possible.

- Collaborate with architects and developers on project design, participate in design reviews, and provide clear technical specifications.

- Ensure high-quality technical deliverables by minimizing design and development defects and conducting comprehensive system integration testing.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP GTS functional areas, including:

- Compliance management (Sanction party screening, Embargo, Product Classification, Legal control)

- Customs management (Export/Import declarations, Inward Processing, Transit/Presentation, Bonded warehouse, Electronic filing)

- Trade Preference Management

- Analyze global SAP GTS templates and adapt them to meet specific client requirements.

- Configure feeder systems (ECC/S4) including document types and master data.

- Possess basic ABAP debugging skills.

- Effectively communicate technical requirements to developers.

- Understand IDOCs, monitor their functionality, and troubleshoot related issues.

- Develop detailed test scripts for thorough system testing.

- Manage and monitor background jobs, understand their purpose, and resolve job-related issues.

- Deliver project deliverables on time and within budget.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience working with SAP GTS.

- Proven experience with at least 1-2 full lifecycle SAP GTS implementation projects.

- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs management processes.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience configuring feeder systems (ECC/S4).

- Basic ABAP debugging skills.

- Experience with IDOCs and background jobs.

- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
