About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Object-Oriented Design, and Spring Framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining scalable applications while leveraging advanced Java technologies.


As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing robust, scalable software solutions using both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in working with cloud platforms, message queues, and version control tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Java Development :

- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software using Java and its related technologies.

- Use Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles to create modular and reusable code.

- Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code following Java best practices.

- Work on advanced Java features, ensuring optimal application performance and stability.

Spring Framework :

- Work with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) to develop web applications and RESTful APIs.

- Implement dependency injection and aspect-oriented programming using Spring.

- Develop services and microservices using Spring Boot, and ensure the seamless integration of different components.

Message Queues :

- Integrate and work with messaging technologies like Kafka, EventHub, or AMQ to ensure smooth communication between distributed systems.

- Implement and configure message queues for scalable and reliable message processing between different components of the system.

Database Management :

- Work with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.

- Write optimized SQL queries and manage database schema changes.

- Ensure that database integration with applications is smooth, efficient, and optimized for performance.

Cloud Services :

- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud or Pivotal Cloud.

- Work with cloud services for managing storage, data transfer, security, and other cloud-based features.

- Leverage cloud-native technologies to build scalable and resilient applications.

Version Control & Source Code Management :

- Use source code management tools like GitHub or GitLab for version control, code collaboration, and issue tracking.

- Create pull requests, perform code reviews, and manage branching strategies to ensure smooth development workflows.

- Ensure code integrity and adherence to industry standards by utilizing proper source control practices.

Apache Camel (Good to Have) :

- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel to develop and implement routes for message mediation, transformation, and routing between different endpoints.

- Design Camel routes to handle complex workflows and integrate different systems and services.

CI/CD Pipelines (Good to Have) :

- Experience in using Jenkins or other CI/CD tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment and improve software development workflows.

- Monitor and manage the pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure releases.

Key Qualifications :

- Java Expertise : Excellent in Java and Object-Oriented Design, with a deep understanding of core Java concepts such as collections, multithreading, and exception handling.

- Spring Framework Experience : Strong experience in the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.

- Message Queuing : Experience working with message queuing systems like Kafka, EventHub, or AMQ.

- Database Knowledge : Proficient in working with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server for data storage, retrieval, and management.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud or Pivotal Cloud.

- Version Control : Proficiency in using version control tools like GitHub or GitLab for source code management and collaboration.

Good to Have :

- Apache Camel Routes : Experience in designing and implementing message routing, transformation, and mediation using Apache Camel.

- CI/CD Pipelines : Experience in setting up continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Microservices Architecture : Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing microservices-based applications.

- RESTful Services : Experience in designing and implementing RESTful services using Spring Boot.

- Unit Testing : Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito for ensuring code quality and reliability.

- Agile Development : Experience working in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
