Role Description :

This is a remote contract role for a Sr.Snowflake Developer. The Sr.Snowflake Developer will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.

The Developer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining source-to-target mappings, ETL workflows, and SQL queries while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. As a Snowflake Developer, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and completion of project deliverables.

Looking for EAD, Green Card or Citizens only.

Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's

- Snowflake development expertise including hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Strong experience with SQL, Snowpipes & Snowtasks

- Should be able to write efficient queries on high volume tables and understanding of columnar databases

- Strong programming experience with Python is a must

- Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows

- Experience with cloud-based architecture and big data technologies

- Strong understanding of database design, data integration, and data modeling principles

- Experience with data warehousing best practices and methodologies

- Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, Glue, Lake Formation) is preferred

- Experience with Airflow is preferred

- Experience with Terraform is preferred

- Snowflake certifications are a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and remotely
