Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ProdOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our production systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Production System Management : Monitor and manage the production environment, ensuring the uptime and stability of all systems.

- Automation : Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and incident management processes.

- Incident Response : Lead the response to production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze system performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to deploy new features, improve existing services, and troubleshoot issues.

- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.

- Security : Implement and maintain security best practices in the production environment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and incident reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in production operations, DevOps, or a similar role.

- Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Automation Tools : Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.

- Scripting Languages : Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.

- Monitoring Tools : Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or equivalent.

- CI/CD : Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues in a production environment.

- Security : Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a production environment.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cloud Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.

- Database Management : Experience with database administration and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

- Containerization : Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools.

- Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and working in cross-functional teams.
