Location : Timing : 9:30 pm to 6:30 am [Night Shift]

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our VMware infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our virtualized environments. The VMware Administrator will work closely with other IT professionals to support and enhance our virtualized infrastructure.

Primary Skil l: Implement Exp, Linux, ESXI Exp, VSAN, NSX And Storage.

VCF Architect :

- Minimum 5+ years of VMware administration in assessment, design, implementation, capacity planning, and maintenance

- Current VMware Certified Professional (VCP) a plus

- Current VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) highly desirable

- Good understanding of networking and storage technologies e.g. NSX-T, SAN, vSAN, NFS, SMB

- Working knowledge with REST API, JSON and/or YAML

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to share knowledge and mentor team members

Key Responsibilities :

VMware Infrastructure Management :


- Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter servers.

Virtual Machine Management :


- Create, deploy, and manage virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.

Monitoring and Performance Tuning :


- Monitor the performance and capacity of the VMware infrastructure and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.

Backup and Recovery :


- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for virtual machines and VMware infrastructure components.

Security and Compliance :


- Ensure the security and compliance of the VMware environment by implementing best practices and adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Troubleshooting and Support :


- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for VMware-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and system failures.

Patch Management :


- Apply patches and updates to VMware infrastructure components to ensure they are secure and up-to-date.

Documentation :


-Maintain detailed documentation of the VMware environment, including configurations, procedures, and policies.

Capacity Planning :


- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure the VMware environment can meet future business needs.

Collaboration :


- Work closely with other IT teams, including network, storage, and application teams, to support and enhance the overall IT infrastructure.

Training and Mentoring :


- Provide training and mentoring to junior IT staff on VMware-related topics and best practices.
