About the Role :

We're looking for a talented and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our growing team As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing complex features using Ruby on Rails.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong Product Development experience with Ruby on Rails (minimum 5 years)

- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Ruby on Rails best practices

- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with writing efficient SQL queries

- Experience with testing methodologies (TDD, BDD) and writing unit and integration tests

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience with API development and integration

- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD)

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Experience mentoring junior engineers

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications

- Design, develop, and implement complex features using Ruby on Rails

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving code quality

- Participate in system design discussions and propose innovative solutions

- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Ruby on Rails trends and technologies

- Mentor and guide junior engineers
