Job Description :


As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing BI solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data insights to stakeholders.

You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and create reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities :

BI Solution Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models.

- Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to create interactive and user-friendly reports.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all BI deliverables.

Data Modeling and Integration :

- Design and implement data models to support BI reporting and analytics.

- Integrate data from various sources into the BI platform, ensuring data integrity and quality.

- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand BI requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions.

- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Performance Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI reports and dashboards.

- Implement best practices for query optimization and data retrieval.

- Ensure BI solutions are scalable and efficient.

Documentation and Training :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, including design specifications and user guides.

- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and functionalities.

- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on BI objectives.

- Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in BI technologies and industry trends.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BI processes and practices.

- Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance team productivity and data quality.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in BI development and implementation.

- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

- Extensive experience with SQL and data modeling.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.

- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.

- Certification in BI tools or related fields.
