Location: Bengaluru – Work From Office

Role: Medical Biller


About the Role


We are looking for a Medical Biller with hands-on experience in claim processing and payment posting. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with EHR/EMR systems and managing clean claims, denials, and reimbursements.


  • EHR experience is mandatory
  • Only candidates with proven Claim Processing AND Payment Posting experience will be considered


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare, review, and submit clean claims to insurance companies.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and ensure timely resolution.
  • Execute complete claim processing and payment posting to respective accounts.
  • Identify, resolve, and appeal denials to maximize reimbursement.
  • Maintain accuracy in billing records, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Manage aging reports, perform account audits, and process adjustments.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.


Required Skills & Competencies


  • Strong understanding of US medical billing processes (CMS-1500, UB-04).
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems (Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, DrChrono, etc.).
  • Proficiency in denial management, payment posting & AR follow-up.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in US medical billing / RCM.
  • Certification (CPC/CPB) is a plus.
