As a Manager of Data Quality Engineering, you will lead a team responsible to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business analysts to establish and maintain robust data quality standards and processes. Your role will be instrumental in driving the implementation of data quality best practices, tools, and methodologies to support business objectives and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of data quality engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster a high-performing culture.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy, including standards, policies, and procedures.

- Establish data quality metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data quality initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct data quality assessments to identify issues, root causes, and areas for improvement.

- Design and implement data quality controls, validation rules, and monitoring mechanisms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate data quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

- Evaluate, select, and implement data quality tools and technologies to support data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities.

- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data quality management and recommend innovations for adoption.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with data quality standards.

- Communicate data quality insights, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to drive data quality initiatives and promote data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in a data quality engineering or similar role, with a track record of leading successful data quality initiatives.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

- In-depth understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL, data quality tools and technologies such as data profiling tools, data reconciliation, CDC Testing Strategy, Report Testing and data quality management platforms, and ETL tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.

- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Information Quality Professional) are a plus.

- Should have Experience in Python, pytest, AWS lamda, AWS glue writing SQL queries

- Good experience in MDM (Master Data Management)
