Roles and Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Test Lead who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust automation testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and a proven track record of building scalable automation solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation testing frameworks from scratch using Python.
  • Define and establish automation strategies and processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and efficient testing cycles.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and apply them to improve the testing framework.
Skills Required :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch using Python.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and integrating automated tests into the build process.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and testing tools (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
