Job Description :


We are on the lookout for a Cloud, Security and Compliance expert with proven experience in the domains of cloud infrastructure, endpoint management and cybersecurity to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud environments, reviewing cloud system architecture and identifying avenues for improvement, defining security baselines for projects and cloud ecosystems, evaluating compliance of different systems to accepted standards and elevating the overall security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure cloud environments that meet the organization's or project's security requirements

- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities

- Assist in the auditing of security systems to ensure compliance with industry standards or frameworks

- Review existing cloud systems and recommend improvements in the architecture

- Establish baselines for security at the project level and organization level

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards

- Provide guidance and support to IT and security teams on security-related issues-

- Manage and secure endpoints within the organization, including desktops, laptops and servers in line with the internal security policies

- Liase with the management and technical leadership to establish and adopt organizational security policies

- Educate the team and organization on emerging security threats, best practices and developments in the industry

- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, infrastructure, and endpoint management and developing an action plan to adopt them in the organization

Qualifications :

- Graduation or post-graduation in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

- Experience in cloud infrastructure management, cloud architecture, endpoint management, cybersecurity, or related fields

- Knowledge of foundational hardware, networking, operating system and security concepts

- Should be comfortable with Unix/Linux systems and command line interfaces

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, public key infrastructure, endpoint protection solutions and vulnerability management systems.

- Knowledge and experience in server management or endpoint management systems, tools and practices

- Should have worked with security auditing tools like Palo Alto Networks, SolarWinds, Nessus, OpenVAS and Qualys

- Must be aware of the principles and workflow involved in assessing the security of a system through vulnerability and penetration testing

- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC, NIST, CIS and others

- Should have worked extensively on architecting solutions in cloud based on the requirements provided by the business or sales teams

- Good command over modelling or drawing tools like visio, lucidcharts, miro and cloudcraft.

- A background in networking, system administration or data center operations is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
