Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) operations team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of IaaS platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies, to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

- Develop and implement ITIL-based processes and procedures for incident management, change management, and problem management to maintain service levels and minimize disruptions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and security analysts, to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.

- Manage and optimize cloud resources, including cost management, capacity planning, and performance tuning, to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

- Define and enforce security policies, standards, and controls for cloud infrastructure and services to protect against cyber threats and ensure data privacy and compliance.

- Monitor infrastructure performance, health, and security posture, and implement proactive measures to identify and mitigate risks, vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IaaS operations team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development.

- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure and operations.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure components, services, and management tools.

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and configuration management.

- Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for provisioning and managing cloud resources.

- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations, for designing and implementing cloud networks.

- Familiarity with cloud security principles, controls, and best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and security monitoring and logging.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.

- Certification in cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) and ITIL certification preferred.

Skills :

- Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in managing and administering cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure components, services, and management tools.

- ITIL Framework : Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and configuration management.

- Infrastructure Automation : Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for provisioning and managing cloud resources.

- Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations, for designing and implementing cloud networks.

- Security : Familiarity with cloud security principles, controls, and best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and security monitoring and logging.

Preferred :

- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for deploying and managing containerized applications.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automating infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud spending and resource utilization.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards related to cloud security and data privacy (e.g, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
