We are looking for a dynamic General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead our India fragrance business, drive market expansion, and shape the brand's future in this high-potential territory.

About the Role

As GM – Sales & Marketing, you will be the chief architect of BHPC's fragrance strategy in India, reporting directly to global leadership. This is a pivotal leadership role blending strategic vision with hands-on execution. You will oversee business development, channel expansion, marketing innovation, and brand equity building.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue and market share targets.
  • Build nationwide coverage across modern trade, e-commerce, specialty beauty, and traditional channels.
  • Negotiate and manage distributor/retail partnerships for long-term success.

2. Brand Building & Marketing Excellence

  • Craft and lead integrated marketing campaigns aligned with global brand guidelines.
  • Drive consumer engagement through ATL/BTL activities, PR, and digital activations.
  • Champion innovation by introducing region-relevant product launches and limited editions.

3. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Collaborate with global HQ to align India strategy with international objectives.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional coordination with supply chain, finance, and creative teams.

4. P&L Ownership

  • Full responsibility for business performance, pricing, and profitability.
  • Allocate budgets strategically to deliver optimal ROI on marketing and trade spends.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 12–15 years in sales & marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within fragrance, beauty or luxury.
  • Proven Success: Track record of building brands, driving double-digit growth, and scaling distribution in competitive markets.
  • Leadership: Inspirational people leader with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of India's beauty retail landscape, consumer trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, agile, and results-oriented with a passion for premium/luxury brands.
