Role Overview:

The Multimedia Specialist will support IIT Bombay’s faculty in creating high-quality video lectures and course content for online and hybrid learning programs. The role involves hands-on videography, video editing, and multimedia production using Adobe Creative Cloud (non-negotiable) tools.


You will collaborate closely with faculty, videographers, and instructional designers to ensure visual and academic excellence in every course produced.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty during course recording sessions; manage lighting, sound, and video setup.
  • Capture and edit instructional videos, interviews, and educational features.
  • Design animations, transitions, and motion graphics for learning modules.
  • Maintain production quality and consistency with IIT Bombay’s brand standards.
  • Coordinate with videographers and editors to deliver polished, publication-ready content.
  • Manage multimedia equipment and maintain a structured digital asset library.


Desired Experience / Skills:

  • At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in videography, video editing, and multimedia content creation.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is mandatory.
  • Experience working with faculty, educators, or e-learning teams preferred.
  • Good understanding of visual storytelling and camera techniques.
  • A strong creative portfolio showcasing relevant multimedia work is mandatory for applicants
