This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. We invest in a robust Total Rewards package that includes everything from generous PTO, a flexible work environment, expanded parental leave, extensive learning & development, and even paid time off for employees to volunteerYOUR ROLEResponsibilities include but not limited to:Demonstrates ability to work on engagements with the assistance of senior staff in performing accounting services for client, including but not limited toPreparing and/or assisting with the reconciliation of accounts (bank, credit card, prepaids, liabilities, payroll, etc.)Calculating accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenues, etcRecording journal entriesPreparation and/or assisting with the workpapers to support financial statementsPreparing and/or assisting with the preparation of financial statements and client reportsPerforms thorough self-review of all work prior to submission for final reviewDevelops proficiency in use of all technology necessary for performance and execution of workEnsures quality control procedures are being followed and executedMaintains positive client and colleague relationshipsPositively represents and actively promotes the FirmProactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilitiesYOUR EXPERIENCEThe successful candidate will have:CA Inter Qualified completed articleship OR CA QualifiedAbility to work on the corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end close, payroll and benefitsCommunication and presentation skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsAction-oriented (self-starter, team player, detail-oriented)Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlinesUnderstanding of financial statement preparation and analysisIn addition, please take a moment to review our Universal Job Standards.Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
