Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Java Developer to join our engineering team in a full-time, on-site role at our Sunnyvale, CA office. In this role, you will be actively involved in the design, development, and deployment of software applications. You will collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhance existing applications, and contribute to building robust microservices-based architectures. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, and debug Java applications
  • Develop and maintain microservices using the Spring Framework
  • Collaborate with team members to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team discussions
  • Assist in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments
Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Java and core object-oriented programming concepts
  • Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework and Microservices architecture
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, software design principles, and design patterns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Internship or project experience in Java development
