Lead the creation and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks to support continuous testing efforts. Develop detailed test plans and schedules in collaboration with QA analysts, developers, and project managers. Troubleshoot test failures and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Establish and maintain comprehensive regression test suites to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications across multiple releases. Continuously enhance regression test coverage and efficiency through automation and optimization. Verify integration points between systems, services, and third-party APIs. Perform root cause analysis of defects, prioritize issues, and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and improvements. Mentor and coach junior team members in test automation best practices, coding standards, and tools. Maintain documentation related to test automation frameworks, test scripts, test data, and test results for future reference. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation, software testing methodologies, and the P&C insurance domain. Requirements Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java. Good understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts, workflows, and terminology is preferred. Proven track record of leading and managing automation testing efforts for complex software systems. Expertise in Java programming language for test automation. Strong understanding of Selenium WebDriver for web-based application testing. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) for managing test automation codebase. Proficiency with build automation tools like Maven or Gradle. Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools like Jenkins, Bamboo. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or similar. Strong understanding of regression testing techniques and practices to ensure software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence. Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode. Experience in providing mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing. Good to Have: Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, for effective automation. Experience with Maven or Gradle for project dependency and CI pipeline integration. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, INS21, Selenium, Java or Agile certifications are desirable.
