Job Title: Quality Engineer – Execution (Wind Project)Location: KarnatakaExperience: 5- 10 yearsKey Responsibilities:Implement and enforce quality control plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) across mechanical and/or electrical work scopes.Supervise and inspect the installation of wind turbine components, including towers, nacelles, blades, transformers, switchgear, and cabling.Perform and witness site tests such as:Mechanical: torqueing, tensioning, alignment, vibration checks.Electrical: insulation resistance (IR), continuity, polarity, HV/AC/DC testing.Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, OEM specifications, and industry standards (IEC, IS, IEEE, etc.).Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up with corrective and preventive actions.Maintain and manage all quality records and reports, including checklists, test reports, and method statements.Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and internal teams for timely resolution of site quality issues.Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols during all site operations.Assist with final quality dossier preparation and project handover documentation.Qualifications:Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5+ years of relevant experience in wind energy projects.Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC/IS standards, and quality management systems.Certification in QA/QC or relevant technical training is an advantage.
