Ab Initio :
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development.
- Develop and optimize ETL workflows and processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Proficiency in Ab Initio suite components including GDE (Graphical Development Environment), Co>Operating System, Conduct>It, and EME (Enterprise Meta>Environment).
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and relational databases.
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data sets.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Ab Initio graphs and applications to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Mandatory requirement : Application Development Experience in Ab Initio
Mandatory Skills : Graph Development, Plan development, Knowledge of PDL, Ab Initio standard environment parameters, graph/ plan/ sandbox/ project parameters, GDE, EME basics, DB Load / Unload Utilities
Other mandatory skills/experiences : SDLC, Data Analysis Experience in Databases like SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Proficient in SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting (must), Unix utilities like sed, awk, etc.
Good to have Skills : Ab initio to AWS/ GCP/ Azure interaction experience, Message Queue experience, Continuous Graph experience, Metadata hub experience, python scripting
PRIMARY SKILLS :
- Scheduling knowledge (Control M, Autosys, Maestro, TWS, ESP) is good to have.
- Project Profiles: Experience of data integration from multiple source systems, multiple target systems, business transformations with varied scheduling requirements.
- Expected to interact with customer, produce LLD, Test documentation and work with testing team, work with Admin team for deployments, schedules, and post production 3rd level support.
