Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for SAP FICO modules, ensuring seamless business operations for our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP FICO modules (Finance and Controlling) in an AMS environment.
  • Monitor, analyse, and resolve incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements in SAP FICO.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand issues, gather requirements, and implement solutions.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation as per business requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure data integrity across financial processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, HR, etc.) for integrated support and issue resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and recommend preventive measures.
  • Assist in user training and prepare knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Adhere to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module, preferably in an AMS/support environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
  • Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and support activities in SAP FICO.
  • Familiarity with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in shifts and be on-call as per business requirements.


Preferred Skills

  • SAP Certification in FICO module.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Exposure to automation tools, ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow), and ITIL frameworks.
  • Prior experience in the BFSI, manufacturing, or retail sector.
