Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom programs, reports, forms, and enhancements using ABAP on S/4 HANA.
  • Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and RAP models.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.) to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization in HANA environments.
  • Integrate with SAP Fiori/UI5 and other S/4 HANA applications.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and transport management.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Core ABAP (BAPI, BADI, User Exits, ALV, Smartforms, Interfaces).
  • Proficiency in S/4 HANA technologies – CDS, AMDP, OData, RAP, Fiori integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD) for integration points.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to SAP BTP / CAP / ABAP Cloud development.
  • Knowledge of Git, Jira, or Solution Manager.
  • Experience in Agile / DevOps environments.
