Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized Odoo modules aligned with public sector needs (Finance, Procurement, HR, Projects).
  • Integrate Odoo with government and enterprise systems via APIs and secure data exchanges.
  • Optimize and extend Odoo core functionalities using Python, PostgreSQL, QWeb, and OWL (JavaScript).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements.
  • Contribute to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation where applicable.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and customization.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for Odoo lifecycle management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5+ years hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Community and/or Enterprise).
  • Expert in Python, PostgreSQL, XML/QWeb, and JavaScript (OWL).
  • Strong knowledge of Odoo ORM, module architecture, security framework.
  • Experience integrating Odoo with third-party systems via REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with public sector standards (OPS, PSPC, ISO 27001, SOC2).
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly.

Desirable / Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of iVedha Fabric-like integration platforms or middleware.
  • Experience with agentic AI, RPA, or AI-driven process automation.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
  • Previous experience delivering for government or regulated industries.
  • French/English bilingualism (for Canadian opportunities)
