QA Functional Tester

Your Mission

Design and execute detailed test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and ensure high-quality software delivery by collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Collaborate with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to align QA efforts
  • Analyze test results and recommend improvements
  • Contribute to code/design reviews with a QA perspective
  • Maintain compliance with QA standards and methodologies
  • Continuously improve testing strategies and tools

What You Bring

  • Bachelors in computer science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of QA functional testing experience
  • Strong grasp of SDLC and QA best practices
  • Proficient in tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
  • Clear documentation and communication skills
  • Exposure to automation tools like Selenium/QTP (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
