Graphic Design Specialist

Values: Do the right thing, Service to others, Mutual Respect, Always Getting Better, QualityPosition OverviewWe're looking for a Graphic Design Specialist who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. In this role, you'll create on-brand visual designs such as marketing collateral – with a focus on pursuit documents, client deliverables, and presentations that supports the firm’s branding, marketing, and communications efforts across various channels. You will be part of the Growth team, working closely with cross-functional departments, including corporate communications, human resources, and external agencies. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal guided instruction. This person should possess a creative mindset along with strong project management, organizational and prioritization skills, and has 4-7 years of experience in graphics and brand design to help activate brands across various media channels with a focus on print and digital. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with an external agency to assist in the creation of visual content for marketing materials, social media, websites, and print collateral.Brainstorm and strategize with internal team members and departments on a wide range of materials that may include advertising, presentations, sales collateral, tradeshow graphics, signage, internal communications, newsletters and other marketing materials.Work closely with Industry Growth Strategists on assets that align with our go-to market strategy.Maintain design templates, style guides, and visual brand standards for all branded and corporate marketing materials and content. Ensure all visual materials are consistent with the firm’s brand guidelines and reinforce the corporate identity across all channels.Help prepare and edit images, graphics, and layouts for various platforms. Maintain a library of design assets, including logos, images, templates, and other visual elements, to ensure easy access and consistency across the organization.Review/Proof designs for errors before printing or publishing.Size, retouch, and color-correct images for internal and external publication.Research and obtain stock images.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.Stay updated on design trends and software advancements to bring fresh ideas to the team.Support the team with additional tasks as needed.QualificationsMinimum 4-7 years’ experience in a professional graphic design position. Bachelor’s degree in science or any graphic designing, Visual Arts, or a related field.Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.Portfolio showcasing design work.Advanced understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of graphic design.Proficiency in presentation software and all Microsoft Office products. Ability to deliver high-quality work with a strong work ethic.Strong time-management skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency under demanding deadlines.Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.Knowledge of web design and UX/UI principles is a plus.Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis.Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkFull-time / 40 hours per week, with some overtime as required.
