It's about designing the employee experience—from onboarding that feels warm and clear, to leave policies that actually make sense, to solving the tiny friction points that make work frustrating.If you love people, systems, and making things run smoothly, this is where you start.About the Role:We're looking for a People and Culture Intern who wants to build the foundations of a high-trust, high-performance team culture.You'll work on leave tracking to onboarding, Slack workflows to performance conversations. You'll be the person who notices what's broken, thinks through solutions, and builds systems that scale.This is a hands-on, 0-to-1 role. You won't just execute—you'll propose, design, and own small but meaningful projects that impact every team member.Key Responsibilities:People Operations & SystemsOwn and optimize leave management systems—track, update, and ensure accuracyBuild templates and workflows for contracts, onboarding docs, and team communicationsManage integrations between tools (Slack, Razorpay X Payroll, SignRequest, etc.)Identify operational bottlenecks and design systems to eliminate themMaintain employee records, directories, and org charts with obsessive accuracyMetrics & ReportingTrack and report on key people metrics: headcount, leave balances, probation timelines, attritionBuild dashboards or reports that make HR data easy to understand and act onMonitor team sentiment through pulse checks, feedback loops, and one-on-one insightsPresent findings clearly and recommend data-driven improvementsEmployee Experience & CommunicationSupport onboarding and offboarding journeys—make them smooth, warm, and memorableDraft internal comms: policy updates, team announcements, culture emailsRespond to team queries with clarity, empathy, and speedHelp organize team rituals, celebrations, or culture-building momentsProblem-Solving & ProjectsTake on ad-hoc people challenges: "How do we track freelancer contracts better?" or "Why is leave approval confusing?"Research best practices in people ops, remote work policies, or team culturePropose and pilot new initiatives (e.g., feedback systems, recognition programs, wellness check-ins)Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to align people systems with business needsWhat Success looks like:Clean, accurate people data and reporting that leadership trustsSystems that reduce friction—team members know where to find info and how things workProactive problem-solving: you spot issues before they escalateInternal comms that are clear, thoughtful, and on-brandProjects completed independently with minimal hand-holdingTeam members feel supported, informed, and cared forWhat we're looking for:Loves people and genuinely cares about employee experienceSystems thinker: you don't just solve problems—you build frameworks to prevent themStrong operational mindset—detail-oriented, organized, and process-drivenComfortable with metrics, spreadsheets, and turning data into insightsExcellent written and verbal communication (especially Slack and email)Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownershipCurious and resourceful: Googles solutions, researches tools, proposes ideasExperience: 0-1 years in HR, operations, or people roles (or relevant internship experience).
