The JD for Python Data Scientist are as follows:The objective of this role is to use statistical computer languages (Python) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.Develop predictive analytics solution using ML algorithms such as regression, classification and random forest.Build concept and category model using text mining algorithms.Conduct Peer review and offer recommendations on other people’s codeWork with back/front-end developer to create sustaining pipelines for web applicationsDocument the requirement to development processSkillset required for this role is Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects independently in an environment with competing priorities.Working closely with technical teams, and other organizations to understand the product and dataFinding and interpreting large data sets to help predict costsLearning and understanding Boeing's data resources and knowing when, how, and which to use and which not to use.Identifying, analyzing, and solve systematic problems, while maintaining focus on the bigger pictureWorking together with the team to ensure data analysis and developed algorithms can be appropriately applied for negotiation supportEnsuring data collected, analyzed and presented result in actionable insights for negotiation supportEngaging and participating in negotiation support, to bolster the use of data analytics within supplier negotiationsUnderstanding high-level business objectives and continually align those objectives to meet the needs of the business.Able to multi-task, prioritize and project manage independently in an environment with competing prioritiesExperience working in a technical, operational or manufacturing environment with the ability to translate that knowledge into financial opportunitiesDiverse functional experience, with a desire to use data in negotiationsExcellent communication skills and a proven history of excelling in a collaborative environment as a key team player.
