Role Description This is a full-time, remote Data Engineer role. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines, creating and optimizing data models, and developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows. This role includes building and maintaining scalable data warehouses and analyzing structured and unstructured data to support business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a key part of the role, ensuring that data solutions meet business requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in Data Engineering tasks, including designing and managing scalable data solutionsExperience in Data Modeling and creating optimized database schemasKnowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data pipeline developmentHands-on experience with Data Warehousing and data storage systemsStrong Data Analytics skills for processing and deriving insights from large datasetsFamiliarity with relevant programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote team environmentExperience with education technology or a similar industry is a plus
