About the RoleWe’re looking for a concept-driven, emotionally intuitive Scriptwriter who can transform briefs, storyboards, and loose ideas into powerful, screen-ready narratives. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution—writing brand films, testimonials, reels, educational content, and campus stories that feel real, inspiring, and unforgettable.Candidates with prior experience in creative agencies or having directed branded content will feel right at home here. You’ll be expected to write with both a cinematic eye and a production mind, understanding how each line translates to screen.What You'll DoWrite compelling scripts for a wide range of content: reels, testimonials, brand videos, motion explainers, interviews, and campus docsCollaborate with content strategists and producers to turn ideas into emotionally resonant narrativesPolish and rewrite scripts drafted by internal teams, aligning them with storytelling best practicesEnsure pacing, flow, tone, and messaging match both audience and platformParticipate in directional planning, blocking, and shoot scripting when neededGuide VO recordings, scene transitions, and editing cues through your script structureBuild a library of story structures and creative templates for recurring formatsWhat You Bring3–6 years of experience as a scriptwriter / copywriter / screenwriter, preferably in creative agencies or branded content studiosExperience in the Tech and EdTech domains is a plusExperience in video direction or co-directing campaigns is a strong plusStrong grasp of structure, emotional flow, narrative layering, and dialogue authenticityVisual thinking—your words are designed to move on screen, not just sit on a docAbility to write for different platforms (YouTube, Reels, Docs, Social Ads) and audiences (students, parents, professionals)Familiarity with regional stories and cultural nuance is a big plusBonus: Experience working closely with editors, cinematographers, or designersWhy Nxtwave(NIAT)?You’ll write stories that redefine how education is experienced across IndiaYour work will live across social media, campuses, masterclasses, and national campaignsCollaborate with a top-tier team of directors, editors, designers, and creative strategistsOpportunity to own scripts end-to-end—from ideation to final executionBe part of a fast-growing creative team with space to experiment and push the craft forward
