About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr.Oracle Database Developer to join our growing team.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Oracle database solutions.

You will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to transform business needs into efficient and secure database systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex Oracle database objects, including tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions, utilizing PL/SQL.

- Write and maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented PL/SQL code for various purposes, such as data conversion, system enhancements, report generation, and transaction processing.

- Conduct thorough requirements analysis to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.

- Experience integrating data between Oracle databases and other business systems using various techniques, including SQL Server, IBM DataStage, web services, messaging, and modern data warehousing approaches.

- Possess strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

- Maintain a deep understanding of database security best practices and implement appropriate access controls.

- Perform database performance optimization to ensure efficient data access and retrieval.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues effectively.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Oracle database technologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 7+ years of experience developing and managing complex Oracle databases.

- Strong understanding of PL/SQL programming language.

- Experience working with SQL Server database development is a plus.

- Proven ability to analyze data requirements and develop efficient data models.

- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques (e.g. IBM DataStage, web services, messaging).

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
