We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience building projects from scratch, strong debugging skills, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and security best practices. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring that it is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Provisioning and Automation :

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Automate the provisioning and scaling of cloud resources to ensure high availability and efficient use of resources.

CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support fast and reliable code deployment.

- Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing and deployment processes into the CI/CD pipelines.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of microservices.

- Optimize containerized applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.

User Access Management :

- Implement and manage user access controls across various systems and environments, ensuring compliance with security best practices.

- Regularly review and audit user access to maintain the principle of least privilege.

Debugging and Troubleshooting :

- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, leveraging strong debugging skills and a deep understanding of system architectures.

- Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to ensure system stability.

Security Best Practices :

- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes, including encryption, monitoring, and vulnerability management.

- Regularly update and patch systems to protect against security threats.

Cost Management and Redundancy Planning :

- Balance the cost of infrastructure with the need for redundancy and high availability, optimizing resources without compromising performance.

- Monitor and optimize cloud spend, identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining system reliability.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure alignment on infrastructure needs and deployment processes.

- Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and security practices for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 3-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a track record of building projects from scratch.

- Strong experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and management.

Technical Skills :

- Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- IaC Tools : Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- CI/CD : Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Containerization : Expertise in Docker, container management, and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Operating Systems : Proficiency in Linux, with solid experience in shell scripting (Bash).

- Security : Understanding of security best practices and their application in cloud and DevOps environments.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

- Analytical approach to balancing cost, performance, and redundancy in infrastructure design.

Communication :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in financial services or fintech environments.

- Knowledge of network security and encryption techniques.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
