Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner with a strong background in migration projects, specifically from Azure DevOps to GitHub. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both platforms and experience in managing migration projects. The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the migration efforts, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the migration of projects from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize migration requirements.
- Develop and maintain a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure that all migration activities are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the migration process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all migration-related inquiries and issues.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure that best practices and standards are followed throughout the migration process
- Continuously evaluate and improve the migration process based on feedback and lessons learned.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on migration projects.
- Proven experience in migrating projects from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
- Strong understanding of both Azure DevOps and GitHub platforms.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps is highly preferable.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
