About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Guidewire-based insurance platform.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Guidewire technologies and strong understanding of insurance industry workflows to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our business processes and improve user experience.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and implement custom functionalities within the Guidewire platform using Gosu scripting, UI development tools, and data model configurations.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient and maintainable Guidewire solutions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Guidewire platform.

- Collaborate effectively with internal business partners (product owners, business analysts) and external clients to gather requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Guidewire platform.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation for Guidewire configurations and customizations.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Guidewire technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in application development, preferably within the insurance industry.

- Strong knowledge of client area functions and systems within Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter, etc.

- Solid understanding of application development support software packages and methodologies.

- Experience with Guidewire platform implementations (Gosu, UI, Data Model) is REQUIRED.

- Experience and knowledge with Guidewire Cloud Platform implementation is a plus.

- Exposure to Guidewire Rating and/or APD product is a plus.

- Proficiency in at least one higher-level programming language (e., Java) and database technologies (e., SQL).

- Understanding of interface design principles and user-centered development methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
