Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fintech Analytics professional to lead initiatives in data modernization, automation, and integration across our fintech ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data strategy, API integration, and regulatory alignment, with the ability to transform legacy reporting structures into dynamic, data-driven solutions that power real-time decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernize fintech reporting and data flows by transitioning from legacy/manual frameworks to automated and alternative data ecosystems.
  • Own the roadmap for integrating alternative data sources, including payments, digital wallets, APIs, and credit bureau data.
  • Design and implement API-based data ingestion pipelines to enable scalable, secure, and efficient data exchange across fintech systems.
  • Reverse-engineer existing data and reporting architectures, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Map fintech business rules and operational logic into unified data schemas to ensure consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive risk mitigation and compliance reviews, ensuring that all data flows meet internal governance and external regulatory standards.
  • Identify data gaps and transformation requirements, collaborating with engineering, compliance, and product teams to align solutions with business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable data insights that improve decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in Fintech Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Strategy roles.
  • Proven experience in data automation, API-based integrations, and data flow optimization.
  • Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems (payments, lending, wallets, credit bureaus, regulatory data).
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, compliance protocols, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable technical data solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in financial services, fintech platforms, or digital banking environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern ETL tools.
  • Exposure to regulatory data standards (RBI, PCI-DSS, KYC/AML, etc.).
  • Background in data modeling, metadata management, or data lineage documentation.
