Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apache Airflow to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data engineering best practices, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-native tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines and data Ingestion using Airflow on GCP
  • Build ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data
  • Work with tools like Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Optimize data processing for performance and cost-efficiency
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability of data pipelines and jobs

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
  • Solid programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git)
  • Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, and pipeline performance tuning
