Job Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Chennai. The main function of this role is to build out dashboards that drive business insights and decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tableau, data visualization, data modeling, SQL, and advanced Excel functions.


Job Description

  • Calculate advanced functions in Tableau and create Tableau dashboards.
  • Design and implement data visualizations to represent business metrics and KPIs.
  • Conduct data modeling to support business analysis and decision-making.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Maintain and update business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Provide training and support to team members on BI tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis.


Must Have Requirements

  • Proficiency in Tableau, including advanced functions and dashboard creation.
  • Strong skills in data visualization techniques.
  • Experience in data modeling to structure and analyze data.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and insights.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
