ROLE OVERVIEW:


We are seeking an Agentic AI Engineer focused on custom AI agents, tool calling, reasoning systems, and AI evaluations. This role does not involve Edge AI or device-level ML. The focus is on building LLM-driven automation, high-accuracy agent pipelines, and ensuring reliable reasoning and output quality across our GenAI products.

You will work on the intelligence layer of our systems, improving how agents retrieve information, call tools, reason over data, and produce accurate, explainable outputs.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES [Agentic AI & Reasoning Systems]:

· Design and implement AI agents with multi-step reasoning, memory, and tool usage.

· Build and optimize tool-calling frameworks (Python tools, APIs, backend actions).

· Create context managers, planning modules, and stateful agent interaction flows.

· Work with structured reasoning methods (graph reasoning, retrieval chains, symbolic logic).

[RAG, Retrieval & Knowledge Systems]

· Build and scale RAG pipelines with vector databases and document stores.

· Integrate retrieval, graph-based querying, and hybrid search to improve factual accuracy.

· Optimize retrieval ranking, context compression, and relevance scoring.

[AI Accuracy, Evaluation & Reliability]

· Design evaluation frameworks for agent performance, tool-calling correctness, and reasoning accuracy.

· Build automated testing suites (stress tests, adversarial prompts, regression tests).

· Develop dashboards and metrics for monitoring accuracy and system quality.

[Integrations & Backend Collaboration]

· Work with backend engineers to integrate AI modules into production.

· Collaborate on API endpoints, orchestration layers, and scalable agent pipelines.

· Document agent behavior, architecture diagrams, and internal APIs.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


· Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field.

· 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with emphasis on LLMs.

· Expertise with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc.).

· Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom-built agents).

· Strong skills in RAG systems, embeddings, and vector databases.

· Advanced Python skills (async, modular design, API integrations).

· Understanding of prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, tool calling patterns, and accuracy optimization.

· Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux environments.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


· Experience building multi-agent systems or hierarchical planners.

· Familiarity with structured reasoning (graphs, ontologies, semantic search).

· Experience building evaluation frameworks or benchmark systems.

· Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning or instruction tuning.

· Contributions to open-source AI/LLM tooling.
