Video Specialist

Brief:

We are looking for an impactful Video Specialist to own all in-house ad-shoots, animation, video editing and production. Someone who is driven and self-motivated to join the growing and fast-paced Brand and communications team. Working closely with the team lead/s, you will support and help drive content creation and contribute to building the brand and marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and produce graphics driven videos, storyboards and other assets of animation/motion design (corporate videos, explainer videos, websites, marketing demos, topical videos etc.)
2. Shoot, create animation/infographical content and manage all the technical aspects of production as required
3. Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavors and events.
4. Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction.
5. Manage timelines and prioritization of workload, and know when to ask for direction.
6. Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms.
7. Passion and skills for filmmaking
8. Experience in video creation, production, editing and publishing
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
10. A strong portfolio of works or a demonstrated potential for great work

Technical Abilities:

1. Expertise with Adobe suite such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator with strong understanding of 2D & 3D animation & render techniques.
2. Hands-on production of high quality and realistically rendered graphics and scenarios, with a thorough understanding of pacing and animation principles.
3. Illustration based motion design skills
4. Technically proficient with the usage of camera (DSLR)

Required Qualifications:

1. Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
2. Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Good to have Requirements:

1. 2-5 years of related professional experience.
2. Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
3. Hands-on with emerging AI capabilities
4. Working knowledge in Flash will be nice to have
5. Creative approach and storytelling skills
6. Prior work experience with a fast-growing start-up
7. Willingness to stretch and go beyond the normal standards of schedule and expectations
