Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning & Strategy :

- Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases for both manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of product features and requirements.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionalities and create relevant test scenarios.

Manual & Automated Testing :

- Execute manual test cases, identify bugs, and ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar, to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected by new features or bug fixes.

Bug Tracking & Reporting :

- Document, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified issues and re-test fixes to ensure they are resolved.

Quality Assurance Process Improvement :

- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function.

- Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance to ensure product reliability, scalability, and performance.

Performance & Load Testing :

- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the product can handle high traffic and usage.

- Use tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar to simulate different user scenarios and identify potential bottlenecks.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Provide regular updates on QA progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Test Environment Setup :

- Configure and maintain test environments to replicate production scenarios as closely as possible.

- Ensure that test environments are stable and ready for testing activities at all times.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) :

- Coordinate and support UAT efforts by providing necessary test cases, assisting users during testing, and capturing feedback for further refinement.

Documentation :

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, bug reports, and test results.

- Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

Continuous Learning :

- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to continually enhance QA skills and knowledge.

Preferred Skills :

- Testing Tools : Proficiency in tools like Selenium, JIRA, LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman, etc.

- Automation Frameworks : Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, or similar.

- Programming Languages : Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automated test scripts.

- Agile Methodology : Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
