Role : Embedded Developer

Job Description :

Position Overview: As an Embedded Developer at [Company Name], you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for our products. You will work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software developers to create robust and efficient embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test embedded software for various applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

- Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers, processors, and other embedded systems.

- Optimize and debug embedded systems to ensure reliability and performance.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

- Write and maintain documentation for software design and implementation.

- Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) and develop device drivers.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.

- Assist in the development of hardware-software integration plans and procedures.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications :

Required :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.

- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.

- Experience with embedded systems design and development.

- Knowledge of microcontroller architecture and peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).

- Experience with debugging tools and techniques (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

- Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreading.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred :

- Master's degree in a relevant field.

- Experience with embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).

- Experience with hardware design and schematic review.
