Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated test frameworks for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in mobile testing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring the highest quality standards across our mobile platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile automation frameworks (Android & iOS).
  • Create, execute, and optimize automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; drive root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging mobile automation tools, frameworks, and industry trends.


️ Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile test automation (Android/iOS).
  • Strong proficiency in tools/frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, APIs, and debugging tools (ADB, Xcode).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to performance, security, and accessibility testing for mobile apps.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
