Team has complete charter of end to end development of Audio ADCs, DACs, Codecs including devices with Class D integration. These devices are highly integrated mixed signal devices with on chip digital signal processing capabilitiesAs part of this role you will get opportunity to interface with various engineering teams within the product line including digital design, layout, firmware, verification, validation, test, systems, applications and marketing to successfully execute new products from concept to volume production and subsequent support.You will be a core member in a design team driving flawless execution, while finding innovative design architecture and solutions to customers’ problems through “out of the box thinking” to deliver highly differentiated products.In this role, responsibilities may include:Lead/Manage an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturingDirect, guide and participate in activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of applicationsMake assignments for team members, make architectural decisions/process selection etc, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the projectEvaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectivesWork with and provide guidance to layout engineers and monitors the progress of IC layoutCollaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PGWork with systems engineers, application engineers and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, application notes and assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creationCollaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to productionInterface and lead discussions with the customer and/or TI field sales/field applications teams to understand customer designs, problems and support as requiredActively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leaderParticipate and drive silicon debug, provide design support for customer issues/returnsQualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering> 8 Years of Analog Design experienceChip Lead, Analog Design lead or equivalent experience in Mixed Signal IC> 4 Years of hands on experience in High performance Sigma Delta ADC / DAC / PLL / Op-ampExperience of leading full project (Chip lead) Or Analog design lead Strong understanding of signal processing, Analog design principles, including low-noise, low-distortion, and high-efficiency circuitsProven record of nurturing talentPreferred qualifications:Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions (Digital, Test & Val, Firmware, Layout etc)Ability to communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholdersAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbout UsWhy TI?
