Job Title : Java Development Lead

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Java Development Lead with a strong background in Java programming and technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

As a Java Development Lead, you will be responsible for guiding our Java development team, managing multiple projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development of team members.

- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.

Project Management :

- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle for Java-based projects, from requirement analysis to deployment.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Allocate resources effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Technical Expertise :

- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.

- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and tools, and implement best practices.

- Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain coding standards.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.

Problem Solving :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the team in solving challenging problems.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java.

- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.

- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

- Experience with Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Maven.

- Knowledge of relational databases (e. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e., MongoDB).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Proficiency with version control systems (e., Git).

- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Certifications in Java (e., Oracle Certified Professional).

- Exposure to ReactJS is plus.

- Exposure to DevOps is a plus
