Lead Analyst

Role overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead IT BizApps Analyst to partner with our Finance teams and support their critical business applications and projects. This functional role requires deep expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle NetSuite Finance modules, especially within the Order to Cash (O2C) lifecycle and core Accounting processes.

The role will involve translating business requirements into system solutions, providing real-time issue resolution, and driving continuous improvements across Finance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong functional and technical knowledge of Order to Cash, Revenue Management, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting within NetSuite.

Job Description:

Business Partnership & Solution Design

• Engage with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and pain points.
• Translate business needs into NetSuite configurations and functional solutions focusing on Finance and Accounting.
• Document system workflows and process maps; obtain business sign-offs on specifications.
• Design and execute test cases and UAT to ensure alignment of system functionalities with business objectives.

NetSuite Finance – Implementation & Support

• Implement, configure, and support Oracle NetSuite’s Order to Cash, AR, Revenue Recognition, GL, and Financial Reporting modules.
• Support Order Management, Customer Invoicing, Collections, Revenue Recognition, Credit
• Management, and Payment Processing.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial data capture and reporting within NetSuite.
• Manage end-to-end system processes and act as a Finance application SME

Process Optimization & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to streamline finance and sales processes and drive automation within the NetSuite environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and GTM) to ensure seamless process flows and data integration across systems.
• Partner with Sales and Go-to-Market teams to optimize revenue recognition, deal management, and forecasting workflows within NetSuite.
• Stay updated on NetSuite’s latest innovations, automation tools, and GTM best practices to propose enhancements that align with business goals and drive operational efficiency.
• Evaluate end-to-end process performance, from quote-to-cash to procure-to-pay, and recommend improvements to enhance visibility and scalability.

Data Management & Reporting

• Lead data migration, cleansing, and validation for finance system transitions and process improvements.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis.

User Support, Training & Governance

• Provide functional support to Finance users for issue resolution and system-related queries.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and standards manuals.
• Conduct user training sessions and support change management initiatives.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA or any master’s degree in IT, IS, Finance, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in IT systems’ business analysis, development, configuration, customizations, integrations, and administration.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle NetSuite Finance module implementation and support.
• Proven expertise in Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and audit requirements.
• Experienced in SDLC processes, including requirements gathering, system analysis, design, and testing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial models, data cleansing, etc.).
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and SAP HANA platforms is highly desirable.
• Experience on using or integrating AI tools with Financial systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.

Certifications preferred

• Oracle NetSuite Financial User or Implementation Specialist Certification.
• Certified Business Analyst.
• Additional ERP/Finance system certifications are a plus.
