  • Handle income tax audits, scrutiny, rectification requests, and appeals.
  • Assist in preparing MAT, deferred tax calculations, and other tax workings.
  • Liaise with GST, income tax, and other statutory authorities for assessments, queries, and clarifications.
  • Coordinate with government departments for follow-ups on refunds, notices, and compliance updates.
  • Represent the company during inspections, hearings, and departmental meetings.
  • Maintain professional relationships with officials to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide tax-impact analysis for business decisions and financial transactions.
  • Recommend tax-efficient structures while ensuring full statutory compliance.
  • Support statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax auditors with required documentation and queries.
  • Maintain updated working papers and compliance trackers for audit reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for assessments, reconciliations, notices, and legal correspondence.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and filing of all statutory documentation.


Qualifications


  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with strong specialization in Taxation.
  • 6–8 years of experience in GST, income tax, TDS, and corporate taxation.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and MS Excel.
