Role : Dev Lead - Tech Enablement

Job Description

There are primarily three areas of work at Plaksha for a developer.

Website :

We develop most of our web presence in-house using a PHP based backend and a custom CMS for managing the requirements of various centers, faculty and executive departments at Plaksha University.

Products :

We're reimagining technology education and we also develop in-house products for amplifying efforts in the university. We develop AI-powered products for a university of the future.

Integrations :

For operational efficiency, Plaksha also uses commercial software and we integrate them in our in-house data lake infrastructure powered by an AI-chatbot.

For leading this team, we'd like to invite a dev lead who :

- Is confident of their software development skills, irrespective of the technology stack involved

- Would be able to work with the business analysis team and help them streamline deployment timelines and manage stakeholder expectations

- Has 5+ years of experience in building and deploying software which is used by other people

- Would be able to understand and evaluate considerations for scale, security and ease of development of the software

- Has experience working with other developers in a team and mentoring them.

- Has experience interfacing with and managing non-technical stakeholder expectations.

- Has experience with Azure/AWS Service management

- Experience with Laravel and PHP is a plus.

Experience and Education :

- Bachelors Degree

- Minimum of 5+ years in software development

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a manager, working with junior developers as well as non-technical stakeholders
