- Owns external tech partnerships for his/her area


- Work closely with product managers, and other departments to ensure projects are aligned with company objectives.


- Breaks down product requirements into product milestones and engineering milestones for medium sized projects


- Carries out project management of medium sized projects spanning multiple engineering areas


- Fosters high motivation and happiness within the team


- Plans career progression for engineers


- Manages tech roadmap and systematic improvements over time


- Effectively partners with Product, PE, Architect, and other EM Required :


What you will need :


- 6+ years of experience in software development & a good understanding of modern programming languages and cloud environments


- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing, & building high-performance teams.


- Proven track record of delivering high performance and scalable platforms in a fast-paced agile environment


- Good leadership and communication skills


- Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail Progression


- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance


- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS/Google Cloud/Azure


- Proficient with RDBMS/ NoSQL/ MySQL/ Cassandra/ Elastic Search


- Strong knowledge of data stores, database design, data modelling and SQL queries
