Job Title: Assistant Professor - Communication Design


We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer + UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of visual aesthetics,

user-centered design thinking, and a passion for creating impactful digital experiences. This hybrid role involves developing both visually stunning graphics and intuitive, functional interfaces across web and mobile platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Design & Branding: Create visually appealing designs that align with the company’s brand identity and communication goals. Develop marketing materials including logos, banners, social media creatives, infographics, posters, and presentations.
  • UI/UX Design: Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are both functional and visually engaging. Focus on enhancing user experience through intuitive navigation, thoughtful layouts, and seamless interactions.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Collaborate with product managers and developers to bring ideas to life from concept to final design.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and test designs to ensure usability, accessibility, and satisfaction. Identify user pain points and create solutions that improve engagement and conversion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, development, and product management to ensure consistency across all visual assets and digital touchpoints.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest design trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our digital products innovative and competitive.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
  • Multimedia & Animation (Optional): Create simple animations, GIFs, and motion graphics for digital campaigns and product interfaces when needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, or in a similar creative role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, grid systems, and layout design.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience designing for multiple screen sizes.
  • Ability to translate business goals and user needs into engaging, user-friendly visual solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and an ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high design standards.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development (a plus).
  • Understanding of motion design, animation tools, or 3D design concepts.
  • Familiarity with usability testing tools, analytics, and A/B testing.
